Woodfield Team News
Hazel White
Hazel was given a great send off in January. On 2nd February we are invited to see her licensed to her new post in Moseley.
The service will start at 6.30pm at St Anne’s, Moseley (Park Hill B13 8DU) where the licensing itself will take place and that part of the service will last about 30 minutes. The plan is then for everyone to process to the second church St Mary’s (St Mary’s Row B13 8HW) for the rest of the service, welcomes and so forth, finishing at about 8.30pm. There will then be refreshments. The 2 churches are about 10 minutes walk apart.
If you can’t make the 6.30pm start at St Anne’s, then it’s OK to come for the 7.30pm start at St Mary’s. All are welcome to be there as these are large churches.
The coach is full at present but if you want to go on a reserve list, then contact Vivien on 01530 270354.
The Woodfield Team at the Measham Car Boot Sale
We shall be going to the Car Boot Sale again this year on the 4th Sunday in the month, commencing on 25th March. We are not there to sell or to preach, but to be a church presence where lots of people gather on a Sunday morning; ready to talk, handing out balloons to children, providing a prayer box etc. We should like to encourage more people to join us, so we can draw up a rota. Do please think seriously about it and contact me if you are interested. If you want to know more, come along and see for yourself or speak to Alison Wheeldon (Tel.01530 270086) or Jonathan Ashmore, who have been regular helpers and have survived to tell the tale!
