2941    Affordable Rural Housing

The Chairman read out a report, received from Richard Windley, giving feedback following the public meeting about the proposed affordable rural housing scheme.  The report concluded the positive event was attended in the main by those seeking to register their, or family members’ needs for the homes.  It is believed the existing proposal will be over subscribed.  In analysis of those attending 24 were in favour of the development proceeding, with 2 against.

The chairman requested the clerk thank Mr Windley for his report and the Parish Council awaits further developments.

2942    Urgent Items

The clerk informed the meeting a villager had reported damaged fencing by the green on Didcott Way.  It was agreed councillors would look at the damage, to be discussed at the next meeting.

The clerk reported that no response had been received from Mr Machin about his wrongly positioned fence on his allotment.  It was agreed to write a further letter with a visit from a councillor if no rely was received.
