St Michael's Church
Celebration Service: Sunday July 7th at 6 p.m.
It’s time to celebrate the completion of Appleby church building repair project: the tower and spire are safe and repaired; the cockerel is gleaming on his high perch and lots of other stonework repairs have taken place. And it feels good! Many thanks to all who’ve worked hard to bring this project to completion – so now is celebration time. Ven. David Newman, the Archdeacon of Loughborough, is coming to join us and we will hopefully be joined by our architect and the builders who’ve worked so hard as well as other representatives of grant making bodies. And we hope all those locally who have supported this project will come along. It will be open house – let’s make it a real village celebration.
