Flu Jab Dates announced: Residents of Appleby who qualify for the flu vaccination programme can go to Measham Medical Unit on Saturday 13th October between 8.30am and 11.30am or Appleby surgery on Tuesday 16th October between 9.00am and 11.00am. These are for people over 65, pregnant women, carers of elderly and disabled, health workers and people with various medical conditions. There will be information on eligibility in due course on the Medical Unit web site www.meashamdoctors.co.uk

Public Transport
The number 7 bus (Ashby de la Zouch to Nuneaton) serves Appleby Magna, with a bus every 90 minutes during the day (but not evenings, Sundays or bank holidays). Click here to find a timetable to download, from the County Council's site.

Rubbish & Recycling Collection

Our nearest household waste and recycling centre (previously known as the local tip!) is at Lount but this is temporarily closed until 'early 2012'. Coalville is the next option - full details on the Council's web site.
