Village Life Photography Competition Winners
This was our second photography competition held in summer 2011.
Our competition was open to anyone from Appleby Magna or Appleby Parva (except professional photographers). The judges were looking for interesting and unusual wildlife pictures rather than technical expertise.
Our photographers have confirmed that they have permission from the people featured for these pictures to be published here.

Technical stuff: Michael used a Pentax M25W with Fujo Superia 400 film and a Sigma 70 to 300 lens at 100mm

This was taken with a Pentax P2 20, using a Sigma 24 to 70 lens and Kodak Ektar 100 Film
Michael wins a year's membership of Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust and a large print of his winning entry She Stoops to Conker donated by judge and local professional photographer Chris Wedgbury.
