Village Life Photography Competition Winners
This was our second photography competition held in summer 2011.
Our competition was open to anyone from Appleby Magna or Appleby Parva (except professional photographers). The judges were looking for interesting and unusual wildlife pictures rather than technical expertise.
Our photographers have confirmed that they have permission from the people featured for these pictures to be published here.

Ian took his photos on 30 August 2011 on the regular dominoes night at The Crown:
Nicola used a Canon EOS 1000D with an EFS 18-55mm lens
Thank you to everyone who took part in the competition.
We would like to thank Leicestershire Wildlife Trust for their support
