Appleby Occupations in 1911: a summary of the occupations listed on the 1911 census, showing how residents made their livings in the early part of the 20th century

The final census transcript, for 1911, has been added to the set on the history site

Winning pictures in the wildlife photography competition are published

A further village census transcript is added to the history site -1841. We now have census transcriptions for 1841 to 1901 and a summary of the 1911 census.
